Please note: All of the characters (apart from the fanart) are not meant to represent any other artists' work or characters but have at sometime accidentally found a life in my sketchbook, sometimes inspired by people, events and conversations, and also from stories I am working on.
THE ANIME and MANGA INFLUENCE
I have been interested in this form of art for many, many years since I first saw Battle of the Planets on TV in the late 70s. I do try my best to do justice to the genre with my own work. So take a look at the collection of some of my anime-style artwork to judge for yourselves.
THE FANTASY INFLUENCE
As you can tell by my netname, I love fantasy (from the sci-fi and cyber-punk to dragons and elves). I've always been drawn to mythical beings and imagined worlds and have been dreaming and doodling fairytales and sci-fi worlds for as long as I can remember. Over the years I've been attempting to get these ideas and my own stories down on paper. As I do this and get more of the work in this portfolio, I hope other people will be able to enjoy it as much as I do.
